Siraf Grand Mosque

The remains of the Siraf Grand Mosque are one of the most important relics from the port’s prosperity in the early Islamic centuries. This building is considered an example of religious architecture of that period on the coast of the Persian Gulf. Archaeologists believe that this mosque, along with the market and residential neighborhoods, formed part of the main core of the historic city of Siraf.
